PROXY

An intimate, observational intervention into the filmmaker’s suburban Zionist hometown landscape.

Proxy confronts the metaphor of "mowing the lawn" used by the Israeli army to describe regular bombing campaigns in Gaza. Portraying the American Zionist suburb, full of idyllic beauty and safe, happy children, the film probes the relationship between suburban life and nationalist violence.
